Exchange student says he is enjoying Brazil and school

In the beginning of September, the student Lauri Kärnä, from the Turku region in Finland, joined a 2nd stage class of the 1st cycle at Feevale Elementary and Secondary School, where he will attend classes for one year. He participates in the AFS Intercultura Brasil program which aims to provide exchanges of knowledge not only for the exchange student but also for the students and teachers of the school. Lauri says that he is very fond of Brazil and also told that when he was planning his trip he opted for a country that was different from Finland and mainly for a hot climate place. “I love the school, classmates were very welcoming and I have already made friends. This place is a paradise”, says the exchange student.
