The Brazilian technology-based company is hosted at Feevale Techpark
By the use of nanotechnology, Marina Technology, a technology-based company housed at FeevaleTechpark, in Campo Bom, produced a type of material that reduces manufacturing costs of rubber tyres so that the environmental impacts may be reduced, and that way helping the production of green tyres. As a result, the company has recently deposited in the United States, the Patent 62/541244, taking a step towards global exploitation of this late technology.
Cleber Prodanov, the University’s Pro-Rector of Innovation, envisions a successful company. ‘This is about a startup of a great relevance, which will certainly increase value for its innovation base. As for the fact of being a local enterprise housed at FeevaleTechpark, it represents a reason for immense pride. Model of success like this one is exactly what we keep fostering at the Technology Park of Feevale University’, he stressed out.

It is also a proof that an innovative environment as this one can connect entrepreneurs’ common interests in leveraging business’, highlights the Executive Manager of Feevale Techpark, Daniela Eckert. ‘The possibility to include renewable components and significantly reduce the amount of energy used in the production of tyres will bring great benefit’, affirms the chemistry Director of Marina Technology, Diana Fox.
