Approximately 100 students applied, with 145 pieces of work, for the third edition of the Bright Minds Award. The ceremony will take place on March 7 at 19h, on Rua Coberta Street, on Campus II, at Feevale University.

This was the first edition of the award, which provided every scholar the opportunity to enroll, as an author, with two entries within the 23 categories proposed. They will be evaluated by 19 judges who work with Public Relations, Journalism, Advertising and Cinema fields.

In Public Relations, Chayene Triches, Karina Fensterseifer and Tais Valente form the judging panel. In Advertising, the evaluators are Graziela Hansen, Frederico Barth, Rafael Santos, Ludmila Lupinacci, Luana Sander, Luciano Franczak, William Dieter and Ricardo Muller. In Journalism, evaluators are Jessica Rebecca Weber, Cristiane Weber, Isabel Marchezan, Thais Sardá, Gabriel Renner, Rodrigo Teixeira and Matthew Bruxel. Emiliano Cunha, graduated in Cinema from Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (PUC-RS), will also be part of the jury in the award.

In its third year, the prize, which is open to the community, will involve the exhibition of work produced by Journalism, Advertising and Public Relations students. The goal is to stimulate the development and experimental improvement in the communication field, with students’ practical production. In addition, the competition aims at encouraging innovation, creating products for the communication area, as well as presenting new talents with creative and strategic ideas to the regional market.
