Marcos Santuario will be the only gaucho in the area of Communication invited to the ceremony
The coordinator of Journalism and Public Relations at Feevale University, Marcos Santuario, will participate in the journalistic coverage of the “IX Premios Platino del Cine Iberoamericano”, which takes place on May 1, in Madrid, Spain. The journalist, who will participate in the event as a culture editor of the newspaper Correio do Povo, was the only gaucho in the field of Communication invited to the ceremony.
In addition to the coverage, the professor will participate in meetings with other professionals from the area and from local universities. "I think it is important to take advantage of these professional situations to spread the academic universe experienced at Feevale," he said. As a professor of Journalism and Audiovisual Production, Santuario says he programmed synchronous virtual meetings with academics, so that, straight from the venue of the event, he could involve students in the international experience that involves their professional fields. "In addition, there will be an invitation for the institution's international partners, such as the Toulouse-Lautrec Institute in Peru, to participate in these online meetings," he explains.
