Feevale University professor Lurdi Blauth was awarded Excellence Jury Prize at the Enter into Art 2019 exhibition in Germany. The professor was contemplated by the work Biguás T I, which is part of a series of images from Lurdi's paths through different places, such as banks of rivers, lagoons and seas where she makes photographic records of the cyclical movements of flora and fauna present in nature.
“Biguás are water birds with dark plumage found on the outskirts of waters, always ready to dive for fish as food. When I found these innumerable birds resting on logs in the middle of a lake, I was once again captured by the beauty that nature offered me for a moment”, she said.
