Through Capes' “Move La América Program”, the University will be able to receive up to 34 academics from Latin America and the Caribbean in 2025

Feevale University received 34 scholarships from “Move La América Program”, from the Coordination of Higher Education Personnel Improvement (Capes). The program aims to counterpart the internationalization efforts of Brazilian higher education institutions, by attracting academics linked to foreign teaching and research institutions in Latin America and the Caribbean, allowing the solidification of postgraduate programs.

Through Move La América, foreign students from Latin America and the Caribbean will be able to apply for scholarships in master's, and sandwich doctorate modalities, always in courses related to their area of ??expertise. Among the benefits are monthly fees and travel, accomodation, and health insurance assistance.

This is an opportunity to further strengthen the cooperation ties we have in various areas of knowledge, with universities and research groups in Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Chile, Ecuador, Colombia, among other Latin American countries”, says the Pro-Rector of Research, Postgraduate Studies and Extension, Fernando Spilki.

Feevale University will offer 34 places for foreign academics, distributed across all its stricto sensu postgraduate courses, which are:

• Master's in Administration
• Master's degree in Psychology
• Master's degree in Toxicology and Toxicological Analysis
• Master's degree in Virology
• Postgraduate Program in Cultural Diversity and Social Inclusion (master’s and doctorate)
• Postgraduate Program in Creative Industry (master's and doctorate)
• Postgraduate Program in Cultural Processes and Manifestations (master’s and doctorate)
• Postgraduate Program in Environmental Quality (master’s and doctorate)
• Postgraduate Program in Materials Technology and Industrial Processes (master's and doctorate)

Selection Process

Registration must be made by foreign candidates at Capes system (inscricao.capes.gov.br) by August 8th, at 5PM. The selection process will take place through analysis of the documentation sent by candidates and the selection criteria for the postgraduation courses. The result will be published from November 26th, at Capes website (www.gov.br/capes), and the approved academics will begin their studies at Feevale in the first semester of 2025.
