Lectures are happening on the 9th and 10th of July
The director of International and Institutional Affairs at Feevale University, Paula Casari Cundari, and Professor José Antônio Ribeiro de Moura are participating in the event Doing Business in the Usa by Texas, which are taking place this Friday, 9th and Saturday, 10th. The face-to-face lectures, organized by the Texas Chamber of Commerce in Brazil, aim to bring knowledge, connection and a wide range of opportunities that can be explored by cooperative and associative work of different sectors of society, together with the technological and entrepreneurial ecosystem from Texas (USA). In addition, the intention is to bring the North American and Brazilian economies closer together, generating business expectations in both countries. The opening of the event will feature the participation of the governor of Rio Grande do Sul, Eduardo Leite, the mayor of Gramado, Nestor Tissoé, and the representative of the government of Texas, Shirley Temple.
Professor Moura are participating in two panels on Friday. The first, at 1:30 pm, has as its theme “Class associations in RS, educational institutions and their initiatives for the development of the local economy and their prospects for expansion in foreign trade”. The second panel is at 3:15 pm, and is entitled “Logistics infrastructure and business opportunities in free zones”. On Saturday, from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm, Feevale's Director of International and Institutional Affairs, Paula Casari Cundari, is participating in the panel “The internationalization of higher education in Texas and Rio Grande do Sul”, debating opportunities for Brazilian students and educational institutions with Texas International Education Consortium (Tiec).
