The participants present five scientific papers about the research developed at the Plant Biotechnology Laboratory
The coordinator of the Graduate Degree Program in Environmental Quality. Annette Droste and her students of the graduate degree program and of the undergraduate course of Biological Sciences, Márcio Sasamori, Catiuscia Marcon, Karen Caon, Delio Endres Junior e Camila Petry will represent the Institution at the 8th Brazil-Germany Symposium of Sustainable Development. The event will take place from October 2 to 7 at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS).
According to Annette, with the theme Facing human impacts: the challenges for society and for science”, the symposium will provide opportunities for the scientific exchange between participants from Brazil and Germany in the field of technological innovation and sustainability. The event, which takes place every two years since 2003 alternately in Brazil and Germany, mainly focuses on issues related to energy, water, soil, climate, biodiversity, agriculture and forestry, politics, economics, resource management and future cities.
