Event, promoted by the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria, takes place on 2 and 3 May, in Portugal

This week, the rector of Feevale University, Cleber Prodanov, and the Director of International and Institutional Relations, Paula Casari Cundari, will represent Brazil at the III Meeting of Internationalization of Companies (PPIN), in Portugal. Held by the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria (IPL), feevale's partner in the Iberian Peninsula, the event takes place on May 2 and 3, at the Business Association of the Region of Leiria (Nerlei). Other European and African partners will also participate.

During the meeting, the best model will be discussed to be able to advance the cooperation between the innovation ecosystems of Brazil and Portugal, promoting the integration between the environments of the two institutions together with the networks already formed. Feevale will participate in two panels that aim to highlight the relationship between universities and companies and the role of internationalization networks for their development.

Event aims to systematize cooperation methodology between countries

The internationalization meetings of companies are promoted by the Portugal Polytechnics International Network (PPIN), a collaborative project that aims to strengthen the internationalization of polytechnic higher education Portuguese. The events aim to show potential international markets and local representative entities the conditions and infrastructure so that companies are articulated for international recognition through innovation.

The III Meeting of Internationalization of Companies provides for the establishment of an effective collaboration with the business fabric, focusing on eight target markets, Brazil being one of them. At the end of the event, it is expected to systematize a cooperation methodology and define the next steps of the connection actions, such as: creation of a network of ambassadors, holding of events, promotion of networking and development of internationalization events, among others.
