Besides Inter-American University of Panama, Sul-Rio-Grandense Federal Institute will be the institution's new partner
Feevale University received Professor Edwin Segura González from Interamerican University of Panama (UIP), and Professor Renato Callegaro from Sul-Rio-Grandense Federal Institute (IFSul), on February 6. They were received by professor Moisés de Mattos Dias, the researchers began the negotiations for an agreement among the educational institutions with the objective of promoting the exchange in the field of research and investigation through actions of the Professional Master’s Degree in Materials Technology and Industrial Processes of Feevale, the Materials Engineering Department of UIP, and the IFSul Research, Extension and Graduate Department.
Professor González's visit aimed to know the research developed at Feevale University as well as the infrastructure of the Institution, mainly about the Advanced Studies in Materials Laboratory, the Technology Workshop and the Clean Technologies Center with the purpose of implementing the UIP School of Engineering Research Department.
The Panamanian teacher intends, throughout the year, to issue public notices with funds for research, which will be shared with Feevale and IFSul. The agreement will also have the objective of developing joint research projects, publications of articles and joint work.
