Students will do practical observation in Portuguese clinics and hospitals
Feevale University signed an agreement with the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria (IPL), from Portugal, for an exchange program, the Observership – Experience in the health area. Three students from the Nursing course at Feevale were selected to carry out, from February 28 to March 18, a practical observation in Portuguese clinics and hospitals.
On the afternoon of on January, 13th, the coordinator of the Nursing course, Naira Helena Ebert, delivered the acceptance letters, sent by the IPL, to students Paola Aparecida Simplicio, Renata Casari Cundari and Rodrigo Tressoldi. The ceremony took place in the auditorium of the Rectory, with the presence of the director of International and Institutional Relations at Feevale, Paula Casari Cundari.
For Tressoldi, the opportunity that Feevale is providing with this exchange, of being able to observe how people from the "old continent" practice the art of caring, which is Nursing, will be something that will change the way they see the profession. "I believe that this period in Leiria will be a unique experience, which changes anyone's history. After all, all the knowledge acquired in exchange programs transforms the student in a very positive way. Therefore, this experience will guide me to new paths and strengthen me to face new challenges”, he says.
