Professor Paul Dixon, from Purdue University, in the United States, will give a lecture for academics of the doctorate in Cultural Expressions and Processes at Feevale University, this Friday, May 14th, at 7:45 pm. The researcher will make a comparison between Brazilian and North American culture, within the scope of the discipline of Literature, Memory and Identity.
Dixon, a collaborating professor in Feevale’s graduate program, is a scholar of Brazilian and Hispanic-American authors and works in the areas of literature, literary theory, culture, cinema and comparative literature. At the Institution, the researcher focuses his theoretical-critical production on analyzes of Machado's literature, working with research projects coordinated by Professor Juracy Assmann Saraiva.
