Mil Brinquedos Mil Sorrisos campaign activity received international representatives from Finland and Portugal
Last Saturday, the 29th, there was another edition of the Mil Brinquedos, Mil Sorrisos campaign at Feevale University. The workshop, which was held in partnership with Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) and the Portuguese Instituto Politécnico de Leria (IPL), received the president of the Portuguese institution, Rui Filipe Pinto Pedrosa and its vice-president, Nuno Miguel Morais Rodrigues, as well as the rector of Häme University of Applied Sciences (Hamk), Pertti Puusaari, and the director of the Human Resources and Development, Heidi Ahokallio-Leppälä. The international guests participated in the workshop activity, talked with university professors and visited other spaces, such as the Center for Nutrition and Gastronomy Studies.
The workshop activity, coordinated by Feevale professor Regina Heidrich, took place at the Technological Studio, located at Campus II of the University, and it was aimed at helping children with motor difficulties. The workshop had about 20 people from several cities in Rio Grande do Sul, such as Caxias do Sul, Estância Velha, Esteio, Ivoti, Porto Alegre and São Leopoldo. The materials for the adaptation of toys were provided by the Graduate Degree Program in Cultural Diversity and Social Inclusion of Feevale.
