The students of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science will have workshops about Internet of Things with the Finnish professor Timo Karppinen, professor of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science at HÄME University of Applied Sciences (Hamk), Finland. This professor is the organizer of the IP Smart - Intensive Program on Smart Devices, an event that happens every year and has already received teachers and students from Feevale in four editions. The activities that will be developed by Timo will take place between October 16 and 23, at Campus II of the Institution, and will be taught in English.

Feevale University with Häme University of Applied Sciences (HAMK), from Finland and VIA University College, from Denmark, signed a new agreement on May 18, 2016, that evolved into a strategic alliance. The agreement aims to expand actions for international education, integrating research groups and internationalizing companies linked to the technology parks of partner universities, among other cooperation actions.
