Feevale Elementary and Secondary School begins 2025 with new leadership. Janaína Regra, who has been working at the Institution for 27 years, takes on the role of pedagogical director, succeeding Janine Vieira. Janine will now work with the Pro-Rector of Education at Feevale University as a consultant for the development of educational projects. The selection process, which included both internal and external candidates, attracted 112 applicants. After résumé reviews and interviews, five candidates advanced to the final stage.
The announcement was made on Thursday, the 23rd, by Rector José Paulo da Rosa. According to him, Janaína takes on the role with a commitment to maintaining and enhancing the school’s methodology, developed in partnership with institutions from Finland. This methodology sets Feevale apart and prepares students for life and the workforce. “We also aim to strengthen three key areas: technology, sports, and internationalization. In the latter, we already have a strong presence with language programs, including classes that connect our students and teachers with groups from different countries,” he stated.
Graduate in Pedagogy from Feevale University, Janaína has a broad and diverse academic background, including specializations in Psychopedagogy, Management, Systemic Family Therapy, and Teacher Mentoring – Brazil/Finland. She also completed a master’s degree in Creative Industries at Feevale, with a dissertation focused on education titled Case Study at Feevale Elementary and Secondary School – Its Pedagogical Pillars and Relationship with Finland.
Since 1997, Janaína has dedicated herself to Feevale University, building a solid and progressive professional career. With expertise in educational management and pedagogical leadership, her experience includes projects aimed at educational innovation. Her work reflects an ongoing commitment to educational development, integrating theoretical knowledge with innovative practices, always with a focus on academic excellence and the preparation of future professionals.
“It is with great enthusiasm that I embark on this journey, committed to fostering a more collaborative and innovative environment. One of my primary goals is to strengthen ties with our school community – parents, teachers, and students. I believe open communication and constant collaboration are essential to the success of our institution. In this regard, I intend to establish closer relationships with the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA), promoting regular meetings and initiatives that actively engage everyone involved in the educational process,” Janaína emphasized.
The director also highlighted that all initiatives will be aligned with Feevale’s strategic pillars – community spirit, innovation, excellence, and relationships. “I am fully committed to ensuring that every decision and project reflects these values, creating a welcoming, challenging, and inspiring educational environment for everyone,” she concluded.
