Carolina Zimmer studies at Universidad Miguel Hernandez del Eche
Carolina Zimmer, an Electrical Engineering student at Feevale University, is joining an exchange program in Alicante, Spain. The student went to the country through a partnership between the Institution and the Universidad Miguel Hernandez del Eche, with the aim of studying Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, areas of study that are strong in Spain. Carolina went to the country in February this year, with her return scheduled for February 2024.
According to Carolina, the experience has always been a goal. “Going on exchange completely changes your worldview. I knew I would face very big challenges, but Feevale showed me success stories and I was able to dream and be prepared for this moment”, he explains. Carolina also got an internship working in photovoltaic solar energy, an area of interest to her. “It's been great to play and not be afraid, as it's a way of learning. In my work, I got the opportunity to learn about green energy in relation to hydrogen, which is an innovative project”, he highlights.
For Carolina, Feevale was essential to the success of the exchange program. “This opportunity that Feevale offered me changed my life and made me believe that it was possible to work out. I am very grateful for the support and attention that the University gave from the beginning”, she said.
