Group got to know Campus II and the project carried out by the University in partnership with +A Educação
Around 50 deans and pro-rectors from universities in Latin America were at Feevale University, Campus II on September 14th. The group, made up of representatives from Chile, Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, Paraguay, Guatemala, Peru, Ecuador, El Salvador and the Dominican Republic, learned about the Institution and the project carried out in partnership with +A Educação.
The visitors were welcomed by the rector Cleber Prodanov, the Pro-rector of Education, Angelita Renck Gerhardt, and the director of International and Institutional Relations, Paula Casari Cundari. On the occasion, the University's project was presented with +A Educação and, afterwards, the rectors took a tour of the Campus, including the library, the Feevale Theater and “Rua Coberta”, where most of the Feevale Summit activities take place, an event which seeks to point out trends, inspire the public and strengthen the innovation ecosystem.
The rector of Feevale highlighted that the Institution is concerned with innovation, entrepreneurship, and the quality of education. He also spoke about the migration of the University's platform, previously very traditional, to a more robust and technological one, for access to knowledge. “The change happened at the end of last year, time when we signed a partnership with +A Educação. The platform is not just an environment, but a composition of several technological tools, from remote access to laboratories to quality content and infographics”, he stated, adding that Feevale is ahead on some issues, mainly in educational technologies.
