Luís Miguel Teixeira teaches a discipline in graduate studies starting this semester
The Master’s in Creative Industry at Feevale University has, since this semester, the Portuguese professor Luís Miguel Teixeira in its faculty. Doctor in Electrical and Computer Engineering, he is the current coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Management of Creative Industries and researcher at the Center for Research in Science and Technology of Arts at the Catholic University of Portugal, located in Porto, Portugal. Among the planned actions is his participation in the discipline of Cultural Capital, Creative Cities and Development, taught by Feevale’s professor Mary Ashton.
With experience in the cultural and creative sectors, the Portuguese professor focuses on the study of art, digital media and the future of the internet. According to Mary, Teixeira's participation in Feevale's master's program enables scientific production in partnership between the two universities and contributes to the internationalization of graduate studies. In addition, his participation expands collaboration with researchers from other countries and encourages the incorporation of Feevale into international networks of studies aimed at the creative industry.
